In an attempt to continue to stimulate and continue with my creativity, I've taken to trying to make tracks for interested friends on their birthdays, both as a way to give them a gift, and also as a way to keep myself in practice. Though the tracks are gifts for them, they are also too good to just let them only be heard in private, so they will be uploaded here as a repository.
I am very proud of how these are demonstrating my growth as an artist.
These don't really have any exact story or purpose or aesthetic for why they sound the way they do, just sorta me channeling what I feel off the other person into noise. Don't think too deeply about it.
One of the finest noise records ever conceived. Like an experiment for the whole body, alternating between harsh insanity, and dreamy ambiance, the dynamics at play here are absolutely incredible. Hamartia
Dave Phillips is a fascinating man, and nowhere is this better shown than on his latest release. Insanity through sound, suffering through audio. This will take you to some very dark and odd places. Hamartia
Deep, honest, brutal work. Emotionally devastated suicidal power electronics, some of the most real and painful sounds you're ever likely to hear. A good friend and brother. Hamartia
Less a solo act than a one-man megalith, Khôra builds impressive experimental soundscapes from modular synths, flutes, harps, and more. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 19, 2020
